Evening Light is the first collaboration between Parisian producer Lorkestra and Nigerian singer Kaey — and it lands somewhere between introspective soul and subtle percussive electronics. Sparked by a beat passed along by Lorkestra’s manager, the track moves away from the French artist’s club-driven sound, leaning instead into warm, silky textures that nod to early Soulection. Kaey’s vocals are both grounded and light, telling a story of release: letting go of everyday struggles, dancing through the night, and embracing fleeting moments of joy. Drawing from batida, Nigerian afrobeat, and UK-rooted influences, Evening Light exists in the in-between — built for headphones or hazy late-night sets, when everything feels suspended in golden dusk. paroles
